Good ol OG San Pedro.  The Original Genus Species even.  This is the one that people think of as the traditional Trichocereus from Peru.  The verdant green columnar has intrigued many from South America and all over the world.  Some may call it Huachuma or Aguacolla.  What we see in these beautiful plants is smooth green epidermis, short spination that doesn’t hide the exposed skin,  various textures and notching that exist around the spined areoles, and a  range of greens depending on locality or growing habits.  The lore of these plants is just as important as their ability to look beautiful in so many gardens.  How so many large stands of them exist outside of Peru and Ecuador is amazing to us.  From Australia, and New Zealand to Germany and Spain, or California to Florida, the cultivars are endless .  To some, they may look the same, but to those that desire to be around them, each one is different.  When you have the eye for it, you will see how special each one is.
