Trichocereus terscheckii Complex
This is the section of our larger friends of the garden. The thick, and heavily spined forms that make up the T. terscheckii complex. A variety of species ranging from T. terscheckii / validus / pasacana / taquimbalensis/ werdermannianus. There’s so many things attractive to this form and shape that makes many of us collect from these species. I think one of the main factors is the girth. We all want to see something like a Saguaro, but without the need to grow it for 100 years. Their ability to impress when upclose is easy, and even more so for the chance to do so in sometimes cooler climates. Sometimes.
